Beautiful rondavels (two rooms per rondavel) with private terrace with chairs set in pretty garden with lots of birds, avocado trees, coffee plants and lots of flowers. Spacious rooms with pretty furniture and large bathroom with shower.

Very friendly staff companed with a dreamy location! Green everywhere and only the sound of the birds... Nice local food!

The breakfast-buffet and the restaurant are very good. The personal was extremly helpful.

We arrived in the morning and were doing a sighseeing tour on lake Tana after arrival. The hotel gave us a room to put our luggage and belongings while our family room would be allocated afterwards. The family room we eventually got was spacious: it actually were 2 connecting rooms. Bedding and towels were very clean. The cottages are very nice and the garden area is well maintained.

Lovely green and peaceful location, with nice fresh and clean rooms and a bunch of wildlife (even monkeys!). The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

The forest and atmosphere were WOW! The staff was amazing so helpful the lodge was equipped with anything you need the breath and the bird's tweets in the morning is just so relaxing

Das gesamte Personal, alle waren sehr nett, unaufdringlich und ehrlich aufmerksam und hilfsbereit - nach Übernachtungen in mehr oder weniger schlechten Hotels/Unterkünften während meiner Reise habe ich hier ein paar sehr entspannte Tage verbracht in einer ruhigen Grün/Parkanlage etwas außerhalb der Stadt.

The hotel is far from city center, very old facility, and poor quality, no activity at all

Price of the rooms far too high for the quality of the property. Maintenance is poor, cleanliness is poor, the staff is badly trained, food is poor and takes hours to come if at all,... More specifically: electric wires hanging down showers, bugs in lights fixtures, no record of our reservations, no family rooms as asked for, broken cupboards and a seriously broken glass in the kids bathroom, bathroom doors that don't close, no hot water, and this is only part of our long list of complaints. Having no record of our family room booking, they had put us and our children in two adjacent rooms. When we came home the second night of our stay, we found two staff members in our room - with a clear "Don't disturb" sign on it - placing a mattress on the floor... It appeared they had an over-booking and "needed" our children's room, therefor just taking it... So, off their own initiative, they had taken our children's belongings, literally dumped everything gathered in a cloth in our room and put a mattress on the floor for them!!! We complained to the management about the whole lot the next day. To be fair, we realised fairly quickly that the General Manager has her hands tied. She has no space to run the place as it should: the owner probably wants to squeeze as much out of the customers as he can, putting in as little as he can... She is brilliant, the rest is awful. Place to avoid at all cost !!!
